Guys get ripped on the Keto diet. A low-carb, Ketogenic diet forces men to lose belly fat, lose love handles, and look more muscular. You can definitely get chiseled with Keto!
Who doesn't want to look more defined? A ripped body is more healthy, plus women like that kind of build much better than one that looks soft, or swollen.
In a multitude of studies, women preferred a "fit" look that is lean, and exudes energy, as opposed to one that looks like it was created in a steroid lab...or the basic soft, doughy, "Dad body."
Fortunately, following a qualified Ketogenic eating plan, like the Custom Keto Diet, and adding in some quality exercise can get you ripped within a year.
What...??? Within a year? Are you serious? Who has a year to make positive changes in their lifestyle?
You do. If you want the body you have dreamed about.
Yes, I know you can purchase online training programs that promise you can get ripped in 6 weeks...but that's not going to happen. (Well, maybe if you get hooked-up with an anti-aging physician and take testosterone/growth hormone injections each week.)
It's true. For about $300-$400 a month, you can shrink that year down to 5-6 months.
Of course, you'll screw up your endocrine system, and will never be able to produce testosterone on your own, ever again, but hey...you'll be shredded like an NFL defensive back.
If retarded erections and shrinking testicles do not matter, and you've got another $300-$400 per month for Ciallis or Viagra, then it's no big deal.
However, you'll save yourself a ton of money, and health concerns if you decide you'll get ripped on the Keto diet.
Wayne Haskins (36) runs an online business from Clearwater FL. He said, "Two years ago, I hated how I looked. My torso was flabby and I had love handles, but my chest, arms, and legs had no musculature, at all. They were skinny and white.
I avoided looking at myself in the mirror when I got out of the shower.
I did not want to take off my shirt at the beach. Here, I lived in a beautiful place, that was target-rich with girls in small bikinis, and I just stayed in my condo watching TV.
Fortunately, I was making great money from my new social media business, or I would have really been depressed.
My diet was trash. There was nothing healthy or athletic about it, at all.
I ate whatever sugar cereal looked good at the store, that week. I snacked on pop and phony energy bars. Dinner was usually a personal pizza at the little place on the beach, about two blocks away.
I started feeling more fatigued, and thought I was getting sick. When I went to the doctor, he ran a blood panel on me.
It turned out I was pre-diabetic! My A1c was 7.4%.
I was scared to death when my doctor said I could look forward to a life of declining energy, heart issues, kidney and liver failure, blindness, probable foot amputation, and finally, an early death.
I was only 31. I told him I thought Type 2 diabetes was for old people. He said, 'No, it is a disease of poor lifestyle choices.'
He said he wanted me to get on a Ketogenic diet, start walking an hour each morning, and doing some kind of strength exercises for 20 minutes 3 days a week, and preferably each day.
He also gave me a prescription for some medication, saying he did NOT want to write one for insulin a year from now.
My head was spinning. I could die before I was 35!
When I got back home, I watched a few videos by a guy named Paul Ravella, who preached walking as a formidable weightless strategy.
I also purchased a research-based program online, and vowed to follow it without taking short cuts."
"The most difficult thing was throwing away all of the food I loved. All the food that was high in sugar, high in simple carbohydrates, and high in gross industrial seed oil.
That food was delicious, but it was truly killing me. I had way too much blood sugar sloshing through me heart and arteries."
"Research suggests that people with type 2 diabetes can slim down and lower their blood sugar levels with the Keto diet. In one study, people with type 2 lost weight, needed less medication, and lowered their A1c when they followed the keto diet for a year."

"The doctor wanted to see me in three months.
During that time I really put my heart into changing my outlook on food. The Keto diet had a foundation of all natural foods and meat.
If it came in a box, was packaged in a bag, can, or had a nutritional level on it, I would not buy it.
During those 3 months, I lost 25 pounds. I ate clean. I walked every morning for 45 minutes.
In 6 months, I lost another 15 pounds, and I was actually looking mildly athletic. I decided to start lifting weights in my garage. I also bought a kettlebell to swing.
At the 9 month mark, my A1c was down to 5.4%. I was OUT of the pre-diabetic range. My doctor also took me off medication.
I had lost a total of 65 lbs.
I could see muscle where there had been none just a year before. I plan on losing another 10 lbs, so that I look even more fit. I want to look more defined. Keto will get me there.
I went from looking like a whale, to, now, looking like an athlete. It's easy to see how guys get ripped on the Keto diet plan."
Guys who want to get ripped on the Keto diet will find results much easier to achieve when they add in compound lifts.
These are usually lifts that 95% of the men in the gym do NOT want to do.
They will include:
* All presses - Military, bench, and dumbbell presses
* Dips - Most guys will not go near this station.
* Pull Ups - Practice until you get good at these. Lat pulldowns do not help near as much.
* Deadlift - The bully on the block. Drives up testosterone!
* Squat - Brother of the deadlift. Forces you to sweat, breath hard, and get red in the face, It also torches up testosterone.
Kettlebell Swings - Use good technique. A great full-body workout.
* Burpees - Okay, we know this is not a weight training exercise, but if you do a couple of sets of 20, in under 1 minute, you will blow torch fat off your body.
* Burpees and Kettlebell swings are great finishers.
Perhaps the best guide we've found for gaining strength and getting ripped with compound lifts is a Kindle book called Easy Strength, by Dan John.

Adding a few sprints, of 8-20 seconds, a couple of times per week to your workouts will help you get ripped even quicker.
Sprints work just like Squats, deadlifts, and presses...they demand so much from your system, that it has to produce more testosterone and more growth hormone to adjust.
Think about it, who looks the most muscular at the Olympic Games...the guys running the 5,000 meters/10,000 meters, marathon...or the sprinters, hurdlers, and decathletes?
Sprints blowtorch fat from your frame. Add that to a Ketogenic diet, and purposeful weight training, and you've got a recipe for getting ripped fairly quickly.
Forget about they myth that getting up before dawn and putting in 6-8 miles will burn fat most efficiently.
Forget about the myth that running will take away all of your muscular gains in the gym.
Do NFL defensive backs and linebackers look like they are giving away size? Think about it. Most cornerbacks now weigh over 200 lbs, and many safeties are close to 220 lbs.
Many decathletes are close to 210 lbs. Are they giving away size?
All of these athletes sprint several times a week, and their sprint workouts last only about 20 minutes.
You can incorporate 20 minutes of sprints 2-3 times per week, and get the ripped look you are seeking. You'll only run 4-8 sprints, with long recovery times, but those few sprints will overload your system with testosterone.
